ControlPay, the leading Freight Audit & Payment provider in Europe has become an official partner of UNICEF Ukraine.

Having its' headquarters in the Netherlands ControlPay serves customers mainly from its' operations office in Kyiv. For long ControlPay has been committed to support children in need in Ukraine and has supported children at orphanages in the past. With the unfortunate events in Ukraine having a big impact on children across the country ControlPay has decided to step up its' charity efforts. In close cooperation with UNICEF we identified specific needs we could best contribute to. Many regions in the separatist-held territory suffer from lack of power and especially during the winter from sufficient heating. In order for children to be able to go to school in these tough circumstances, UNICEF is going to provide heating equipment to 3 schools and 1 kindergarten in Dzershinsk with the support of ControlPay.

Karel Kinds, CEO of ControlPay commented: "Ukraine has heavily suffered from the war in the east and unfortunately children are always the greatest victims. As a Ukraine-based successful company, it is our duty to support Ukraine in difficult times and we are pleased that we can make our modest contribution in cooperation with a professional and supportive organization like UNICEF."

With a presence in Ukraine since 2004 and a staff of over 150 employees ControlPay is one of the largest Dutch employers in Ukraine. ControlPay has a long-term commitment to Ukraine and has been investing in further expansion in the last 2 years. The partnership with UNICEF underlines the dedication to Ukraine and the support we want to give Ukraine now and in the future.

UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.
