On april 8th, the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands announced Breda as the location for the new Institute of Logistics in the Netherlands. The city of Breda, as an emerging logistic focal point, beat Rotterdam and Amsterdam to be awarded the research program in which the Dutch government will initially invest €67 million.
This Institute will be responsible for researching innovative logistics solutions as support to the ambition of making the Netherlands market leader in managing transport flows by 2020.
Being Breda-based, ControlPay has played an active role in promoting the cause and lobbying at the Ministry. ControlPay is extremely pleased with the outcome and will support the Insitute's networking and research activities.
